Lot Consolidation Plats
-
A Lot Consolidation Plat combines two or more properties into one lot. Different municipalities require different rules and processes for consolidations, though they are typically more straightforward and easier to accomplish. The standard timeline for a lot consolidation is 1-3 months, occasionally longer depending on project complexities. Once we have completed a boundary and improvement survey for all of the properties being consolidated, a plat is then prepared along with a new legal description. The plat is then submitted to the city/county. The plat goes through a review process, where comments are addressed by us until the plat is formally approved. Once approved, we walk you through the steps to record the plat to make the consolidation final. Contact us to discuss the requirements and timeline to consolidate property.

Lot Consolidations are typically used for combining parcels of land to build larger structures, make additions to structures, simplify development across multiple parcels, or to organize and prepare agricultural land.
