ALTA / NSPS Land Title Survey

An American Land Title Association or ALTA survey is an expanded title boundary survey prepared to the set of standards jointly adopted by the ALTA & the National Society of Professional Surveyors

ALTA surveys are useful in identifying the locations of improvements, easements, rights-of-way, zoning restrictions and other elements impacting the title and ownership of real property.  An ALTA Survey is often prepared in conjunction with the title transfer of commercial properties, as it will provide the insurer with the information required to issue commercial ALTA title coverages.  In addition to the basic standards set forth, the ALTA "Table A" of optional survey services will be provided by us for discussion with you to determine any project specific goals or requirements.  A current title commitment is required before an ALTA Survey can be completed and will be used in determining the record description of the property boundaries and for identifying recorded encumbrances such as easements, dedications, exceptions and other land use rights.
